New Investigator and Travel Awards
A number of New Investigator Awards and Travel Awards
are available to new investigators who have submitted an abstract
to the meeting.
Eligibility criteria:
- The applicant must be the presenting author
- The applicant must be within 3 years of attaining PhD or is
a physician in training or is aged under 35
- The applicant must be a member of ECTS
Awards will be made by the Programme Committee and will be selected
according to abstract score. Authors will be eligible for only one
award or grant. Confirmation of eligibility from heads of department
will be sought prior to awards being made. Please check the box
on the abstract form (available September 2008) if you would like
to apply for an award.
Please note that presenting authors must register and attend the
meeting to be eligible for any of these awards.
Award winners will be notified by 25 February 2009.
