Travel Official Carrier Official CarrierAs the official carrier Czech Airlines (CSA) will offer discounted fares for registered delegates. The discount will be valid for CSA flights from the participant‘s home country or transfer points to Prague and back. CSA offers a 15% discount on economy fares and 25% on business class fares on all CSA flights except flights OK 3000 – 4999 which are operated by CSA‘s partners. These discounts will be valid for travel from one week before the beginning of the meeting and one week afterwards. In order to take advantage of these discounts, passengers will need to provide CSA with evidence of their paid registration. Please see the CSA website at www.czechairlines.com for details of destinations, timetables, ticket sales and contact details for CSA offices worldwide. TransportationFrom the airport: Prague-Ruzyne International airport is situated 18km from the Prague Congress Centre. A shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes to Dejvická metro station (line A). Take the direction to Skalka and in Muzeum station change to line C (direction Háje). In Vyšehrad station get off - this is the second station down from Muzeum. Prague Congress Centre is next to the station. If you use the shuttle bus and metro the journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Prague Congress Centre is 25 minutes by taxi from the airport. The price for a taxi should not be higher than 700 CZK (24 EUR). On Wednesday 10 May a shuttle bus will leave the airport at 30-minute intervals from 08:00 to 20:00. The bus will stop off at the centre of town, the Corinthia Towers hotel and the congress centre. There will be buses to the airport at the end of the meeting and to social events as applicable (details in programme book to be collected at registration). Train: From Central Station (Hlavní nádraí), take metro line C (direction Háje). In Vyšehrad station you get off - this is the third station down from Hlavní nádraí. Prague Congress Centre is next to the station. Public transport: Prague as the capital of the Czech Republic has a good public transport network. It consists of trams, buses and metro. The metro operates from 0430 until midnight. After that it is possible to use night trams or buses, which have run approximately every 30 minutes. 24-hour, 3-day and 7-day transportation passes are from
tourist offices and some metro stations. VisaAll foreign visitors to the Czech Republic must possess a passport valid for at least the next 3 months following their visit. Participants requiring a visa should apply to consular offices of the Czech Republic or diplomatic missions in their own country in order to avoid delay in travel to the Meeting. Should you need a letter of invitation to register to obtain an Entry Visa for the Czech Republic, please contact MCI.
