IBMS/ECTS 2001 - PROGRAM and ABSTRACTS

OFFICIAL SOCIAL PROGRAM

Following the Official Opening Ceremony, the Welcome Reception of the 1st Joint Meeting of the International Bone and Mineral Society and the European Calcified Tissue Society will take place at the convention center (Palacio de Congresos de Madrid).

During this Welcome Reception, attendees will be able to enjoy a taste of regional foods and beverages.
   

CONCERT AT AUDITORIO NACIONAL - Wednesday June 6, 2001

IBMS/ECTS 2001 is proud to present a concert evening with the Orquestra Filarmonica de Madrid and Maestro Enrique García Asensio as conductor, performing works by Falla, Albeniz and Rodrigo.

In addition, attendees will be able to see a special performance by the world's premier castanets player - Lucero Tena.

IBMS/ECTS 2001 recognizes the generous support of this performance by

Shuttle service from the convention center to the Auditorio Nacional will be provided by
Merck Sharp and Dohme.
    

IBMS/ECTS 2001 CONGRESS BANQUET - Friday, June 8, 2001

The congress banquet will be held at the Palacio del Negralejo - a historic complex of buildings, barns, wine cellars and a chapel - which is located only a 20 minute drive from downtown Madrid. Attendees will be able to enjoy an evening full of tasty foods, dancing and a unique mixture of history and tradition.

Shuttle service will be provided.
