IBMS - International Bone and Mineral Society

The International Bone and Mineral Society (IBMS) is a major international Society for promoting the generation and dissemination of knowledge in the basic biology and clinical science of the skeleton and mineral metabolism. IBMS comprises approximately 1,500 researchers and clinicians from over 55 countries active in the fields of cell and molecular biology, orthopedics, osteoporosis, and rheumatology. Main benefits of membership include hardcopy and full-text online subscription to the renowned journal BONE, a members-only section at the IBMS web site, reduced registration fees at IBMS and IBMS-supported meetings, and other privileges.

Early in 2001 IBMS launched the new Knowledge Environment - BoneKEy-Osteovision.
IBMS also collaborates closely with many national and regional bone and mineral societies all over the world.

ECTS - European Calcified Tissue Society

The European Calcified Tissue Society is the major organisation in Europe for researchers and clinicians working in the field of calcified tissues and related fields. The Society acts as a forum for the dissemination of high quality research through its annual meeting and workshops. Benefits of membership include free or reduced subscription to the journals Calcified Tissue International and Osteoporosis International. Membership is open to anyone working in the field at whatever stage in their career and from anywhere in the world.
