Position description: The Shriners
Hospital in Montreal, Canada (affiliated with McGill
University) seeks a Clinical Fellow for the pediatric
Metabolic and Genetic Bone Disorders program. The position
is divided into approximately 50% clinical duties and
50% protected research time. The program is especially
suited for pediatric endocrinologists or pediatricians
with an interest in metabolic bone disorders. The successful
candidate will perform iliac bone biopsies and will
be exposed to stateoftheart methodologies,
including histomorphometry, peripheral quantitative
computed tomography, dualenergy Xray absorptiometry,
and molecular diagnostics. Knowledge of French is an
advantage but not a prerequisite. Further information
