Position description: The Shriners Hospital in Montreal, Canada (affiliated with McGill University) seeks a Clinical Research Fellow for the Metabolic and Genetic Bone Disorders program. The position is divided into approximately 50% clinical duties and 50% protected research time. The program is especially suited for pediatric endocrinologists or medical geneticists with an interest in metabolic bone disorders. The successful candidate will perform iliac bone biopsies and will be exposed to state­of­the­art methodologies, including histomorphometry, peripheral quantitative computed tomography, dual­energy X­ray absorptiometry, and molecular diagnostics. Knowledge of French is an advantage but not a prerequisite. The fellowship is part of the Postgraduate Medical Education program of McGill University.
