Dear ECTS supporter

As the ECTS President, and on behalf of the ECTS Board and Staff, I would like to wish a very Happy New Year to all our members, friends, colleagues and supporters worldwide.

We have an equally exciting and challenging year ahead, and we are starting the year with this new President’s address which will be circulated twice a year to ensure you are updated on current activities and plans for the future.  We want to encourage more active participation from our members and have made some changes to facilitate this.

  • More information on the website, including a NEW MEMBERS PAGE
  • A review of the current ECTS committee structure, with the aim to include more of our long-standing loyal supporters in running the Society – more details to be presented at the AGM
  • More facilities for members’ feedback – including a ‘suggestion box'  in the membership section

Many thanks are extended to all members who completed the recent questionnaire that was circulated in November 2011.  We took all your comments on board during discussions at the recent Strategic Planning Day, and a full review of the strategic framework for the future can be found here.

Many thanks also to all who submitted their abstracts for the forthcoming ECTS congress in STOCKHOLM 19-23 May 2011
