web
based
database
for
audit
of
biologic
therapy
for
osteoporosis
Topics

be
covered
-
The
ECTS
in
collaboration
with
the
clinical
trials
unit
at
Edinburgh
University
has
designed
a
web
based
database
which
can
be
used
to
store
data
from
patients
with
osteoporosis
undergoing
treatment
with
biologic
agents.
The
database
provides
the
facility
to
store
relevant
clinical
and
biochemical
data
as
well
as
record
adverse
events,
changes
in
treatment
and
new
fractures.
Participants
will
have
the
opportunity
to
see
the
database
in
action
and
to
enter
and
retrieve
“dummy”
patient
data.
