NEW INVESTIGATOR
AWARDS
A number of New Investigator Awards are available to new investigators who have submitted an abstract to the conference. Eligibility criteria:
- The applicant must be a member of ECTS
- The applicant must be within 3 years of attaining PhD or is a physician in training or is aged under 35
- The applicant must be the presenting author and must register and attend the conference
Awards will be made by the Scientific Programme Committee and will be selected according to abstract score. Authors will be eligible for only one award. Previous New Investigator award winners are not eligible to apply. Confirmation of eligibility from heads of department will be sought prior to awards being made. Please check the box on the abstract form if you would like to apply for an award. Award winners will be notified by 1 March 2010.
