Travel Bursaries - ECTS Barcelona 24-28 May 2008
(Central & Eastern Europe Only)

A limited number of travel bursaries will be available for ECTS members aged 40 or under from central and eastern Europe who are presenting abstracts at the meeting. The bursary is intended as a contribution towards the costs of attending the meeting, and is not intended to cover the entire costs. Bursaries will be 100 Euros, and in addition successful applicants will be eligible to register for the meeting at the student rate.

Up to 10 bursaries will be given and they will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis to presenting authors only (no more than one bursary per abstract). Please note that recipients of Young Investigator or Travel Awards are not eligible to apply.

Eligibility criteria – applicants must:

• be a member of ECTS
• be presenting an abstract at the meeting (oral or poster)
• be based in central or eastern Europe
• be aged 40 or under
• have no alternative means of support
• be resident and working in one of the following countries: Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia , Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Ukraine
