Predoctoral Fellowship–Genetic Bases of Osteoporosis

We look for candidates to apply for an “FPI” Formación de Personal Investigador fellowship from Spanish Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia MEC associated to project nº SAF2007-64654 “Bases genéticas de la osteoporosis: estudios de asociación y análisis funcionales”. The maximum length is 4 years, two as a fellowship and two as a contract. The bases and instructions on how to apply are published in the official bulletin of the Spanish government BOE of february 27th resolución 3697, page 11789; www.boe.es.

The project includes the search for genomic common variants related to the loss of bone mass. It also includes the analysis of regulatory mechanisms of the expression of genes relevant for bone metabolism.
