Eastern European Grants

Three 2008 ECTS Eastern European Research Grants, in collaboration with the Czech Society for Metabolic Diseases, were presented on Wednesday 28 May to Bernadett Balla (Semmelweis University, Hungary), Tanja Celic (Faculty of Medicine, Rijeka, Croatia) and Jaanika Kumm (University of Tartu, Estonia). These grants of €40,000 each were awarded to Eastern Europe PhD students to assist with funding of their research projects either at their home university of abroad over a period of 2 years.
